New Here And Wanted to Start With a Couple of Questions Posted: 11-16-07 15:58pm
First: At what point during a manic
episode do you usually contact your
doctor?
Second: How do you handle symptoms of
mania?
Now a little about me: I am married (10
yrs) and have three children. I live in
Oklahoma. I enjoy reading, internet, and
relationships. I was diagnosed with
Bipolar in 2004 but can see the symptoms
as a teenager. I've been in and out of
the hospital quite a few times in the last
3 years, having episodes on a monthly
basis. Finally I enjoyed three months of
being level. Now I'm pretty sure I'm in
hypomania --2-3 hours sleep per night,
extra energy, more talkative, feel freer,
well you know the drill. This seems to be
a nice forum so I thought I'd join.

If I were you, I'd take advantage of
constant mania and learn a trade or write
a book, etc.
