Ultrasound...

So i got my first ultrasound today and at
first the technician did it on my abdomin
and she couldnt see anything....we started
to get worried. So then she did a vaginal
one and we got to see it then.... 
Its only a sac right now, and she said by
the measurements im 5weeks and 2days, not
7 weeks going by my last period.
Im so excited, and she said that for 5
weeks its normal to only see the sac
vaginally so im not worried anymore. She
also said my doctor will probably send me
for another one in about 2-3 weeks before
my next appointment.
So my new due date is July 17th..

It seemed like forever...my poor
boyfriend's face turned ghost white when
she said she couldnt find anything...I
thought he was going to pass out.

It already seems like an eternity...but i
cant imagine then, cuz all you want is for
it to hurry up and come out so you can
hold it and everything. Im dieing to know
if its a boy/girl...im so impatient but i

oh my gosh .. it goes by so quick.
I was due with my daughter july 21st
originally
then July 14th
She came July 11th.
So I dont envy you with being pregnant in
July lol
But it really does go by so fast when you
look back. Congrats!

oh and they still couldnt see anything
with the abdominal one when i was 8 weeks,
they still did the vaginal u/s so just a
heads up.

Thanks..yea the technician doing the u/s
said she couldnt see hers either at around
8 weeks...so im glad we could see the sac
through the vaginal u/s.

congrats. I had to have the vaginal
ultrasound too when i was only 5 weeks.
It didn't hurt as bad as I anticipated it
to. Glad to hear that
you got to see the sac. Did you get a
picture? I got one, but I was an fool and
tried to laminate it, and I ruined the
picture.

Yea I got a picture of it, she printed us
out three of them. Ill remember not to
laminate it..lol We are going to frame it,
even though its just a black circle.
Although maybe we will wait untill we can
see our little peanut...and frame that
one.
I was happy to get the vaginal one becuase
I got to pee...haha man I thought my
bladder was going to bust. Then after I
peed about 7 minutes later she was like i
gotta hurry becuase your bladder is
filling back up...
