i have a lot of discharge and it smells
some times and is brown or white. i been
the doctors he said it nothing and not to
worry im not convinced, also when i have
sex i have a lot of pain aftrwoods
straight after for about an hour like its
raw flesh. i also have a lot of cyctitis i
havent been threw child birth so its
nothing to do with tat but i do have
polycycstic ovaries i dont no if that
might have something to do with it but i
would like some suggetions of what this
could be as it is affecting my sex life
and i have only ever had 1 sexual partner
so its not a sexual transmitted dieases i
have been tested for them all..
please suggest something put my mind at
ease

well if it smells and its not white then
its an infection and im not sure WHY your
dr would say not to worry? because thats
not normal
and even if youve only had ONE sexual
partner you can have an std
you need to be tested

ive been tested several time and they have
all come back clear and been tested by
several different doctors and they all say
its fine. i no i could have a std even off
1 sexual partner thats why i worried but
they say its fine.
this is why im trying to find anyone that
is going threw the same experience and if
they have a diagnosis for it or going
threw a diagnosis because i thought it was
something to do with my pcos

Are you using lubricant during sex? If
not, try that. The pain should go away. If
it doesn't, go back to the doctor and try
again.
Normal discharge can be anywhere from
clear to white to slightly yellow. Brown
discharge is also normal before and after
your period. Discharge can have a little
smell to it. It's not abnormal unless you
can smell it when you are naked and
standing up or you can smell it through
your clothes.Discharge regularly changes
throughout the cycle.
Honestly, I don't know much about PCO's so
I don't know if it could be from that or
not.

ok thanks thats helped a little but but i
have tried using lubricant during sex and
i think it makes it worse. i can smell it
while i stand and threw my clothes it puts
me off going to work as i dont want to
smell like this and as for my doctor i am
going to have to try again becuase this is
just getting me no where its putting a
strain on my relationship and i just feel
let down by the whole service to be honest
plus we want a family but this needs to be
sorted first. thanks for your reply. . .

Well, having sex will make you smell bad-
semen in your vagina smells. That's just a
fact.
But yeah, I think you need to see a
different doctor if it is that bad!

sure, I understand that. But there is
usually semen that lingers in the vagina
(in a little alcove up near the cervix)-
if you aren't on birth control, that's
what helps you get pregnant. But it just
sits there and gets a little smelly after
sex from time to time, even if you wash
the labia.

endometriosis? i had the same for years
and thought i had std ect ect infection
ect....talk to your doc about endo 1 in 10
woman have it....most dont know.....
