Carly was born via emergency c-section last Thursday night at 9:40pm. I'm in the hospital right now and the connection isn't great plus being on pain meds my attention span isn't very long. She weightd 13 oz and is 10 inches long. I'll try to post pics in the next couple of hours. She was 12 weeks early!

Wow! She is that little and breathing on her own?? What a little fighter she is!! She is so cute. Brian was born at 37 or 38 weeks and was on a ventilator for about 7 days. I am so happy for her. Having a baby in NICU is the hardest experience ever. There are a few of us on here who have experienced it. If you need someone to talk to, please feel free to PM me.

God bless,

karin

Her heartrate would keep droping and stay low. Plus I had a severe infection in my uterus which was putting her in much destress! I'll be back later. I'm going to the NICU to pay a visit. I'll keep you guys updated.

I am glad all is well! NICU staff and docs are fantastic! I can't say enough good about them. My daughter was born at 28 weeks (17 years ago) and it was scary, but amazing what can be done.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
