When Did You First Drink?

When do you first remember consuming
alchohal? I'm 15 and it seems like I'm the
only kid I know who doesn't drink...

hrm first time ever? Every year as long as
I could remember I would be able to take
one sip of my dads beer on new years. It
was just to show me it was nasty lol.
Really consumed alcohol...I was like 17 at
my aunts wedding reception and they
started giving me shots....I became the
life of the party

First time: 15. I went to a party with my
friends and sipped a wine cooler if that
counts. My mom found and I was grounded
for 2 months.
I didn't drink again until the night
before graduation my senior year.
Don't worry, you aren't missing out on
much. I would go to parties but only so I
could keep an eye on my friends or pick
them up and walk/drive them home, the
parties didn't look like much fun
especially when you are young(a lot of
puking) so you might as well wait.

I had sips of wine at like thanksgiving
and special occasions but my first real
"drink" and party was when I was 15 and a
freshmen in high school.

I was 14 or 15 when I had my first drink.
I had a friend over & we snuck a
couple cans of my mom's beer up into my
room! Didn't drink again after that until
I was 17 or so!

Tried it around 5 (did NOT get drunk, my
parents wanted me to taste how gross it
was so I wouldn't drink because I kept
asking them for a sip).
At 13 or 14 I got drunk.

uhm.. i didnt actually get drunk till this
new year we just had.. so almost a year
ago i was 17 at the time.. im fine that i
didnt do it earlier.. im just happy i did
it in a place where i knew nomatter what
kinda drunk i was i would be ok cause i
was home with my friends

Technically 14 - Was at a friends house
and she had stolen some of her dad's beer
- and she dared me to drink it - but there
was a catch - I had to mix it with milk
(was the only think in the refridgertor to
drink) - let me tell you that was enough
of an experience to put me off drinking
for about 3 years. (I drank half of it and
puked it all up within 5 mins ROFL)
Then I drank when I was 17. Not often
cause my parents were pretty strict on me
attending parties. Then drank a fair
amount at 19-20yrs old - now I rarely
drink. Maybe once every year and a half.
It's not a big deal if you don't drink but
I can see how it can be seen as one,
especially if all your friends drink and
you are the "odd man out" so to speak. I
wouldn't worry about it too much - there
are probably a lot of other people in your
school who don't drink or have never
drank.
Anyway hopefully it helps knowing you're
not alone!

I'm 18 and I've never voluntarily had a
drink of alchohal. My mother told me a
white russian was chocolate milk when I
was 12, and I took a sip only to spit it
into the sink. Drunk wench.
Anyway, drinking isn't worth it and if you
do start drinking do so in MODERATION!!!

Well I'm not too proud of myself because I
went through a period of time where I put
down everyone I knew who did drink. That
was seriously wrong of me.
Did anyone else notice this is in a
parenting section?

I had a mug of beer when I was 6? I don't
remember, I know I saw porn earlier then
that....
ANYWHOOO, so uuh yea, drinking. My dad has
a little troupe that did performances for
traditional korean drumming and dance and
they were celebrating after one of their
performances in my house. They were on
this big table and were drinking beer. I
think in all the commotion, nobody noticed
(or nobody cared =( ) and I walked my wee
little butt there thinking it was Korean
tea. It was one of those big mugs too, and
I drank about half of it before I started
to throw up and cry. Those were a few good
minutes I spent in the bathroom =/. Then I
had a sip of wine at 15, spit it out and
tossed it. I don't drink period, even
though I'm in one of NYs largest party
schools. I need my mind focused! Who knows
what I'll do under the influence. I get
curious now and then, what sort of drunk
I'd be.
