Hi. For the past few months I have been
having these weird pains. They are very
sharp and random. I thought it may have to
do with certain foods, but that doesn't
seem to be the case.
The pain usually occurs 3-4 times a month,
the pain is sharpest in my lower left
abdomen; however, it is painful in my
whole front stomach area from my chest to
my lower abdomen. I feel nausious (sp?)
when the pain occurs, but I never actually
vomit. I can ease the pain by laying
completly straight. The pain usually lasts
for less than 5 minutes, it comes really
quickly, and it dissapears quickly. Does
this sound like gallstones or ulcers?! I'm
don't have much knoweledge on the human
body, so I don't know if it could be
kidneys, livers, gallstones etc.. I'm 19
years old, and normal weight for my
height. My boyfriend mentioned that it
could be stress ulcers. Any ideas would be
appreciated!!

Oh and also, it's not gas, and I have
regular bowel movements, so I don't think
it has to do with digestion.. but not
sure..
