1 Baby But 2 Gestational Sacs???? Posted: 11-21-07 14:59pm
I am 7 weeks pregnant today. Had an
ultrasound 1 week ago to date my pregancy
- saw 1 gestational sac but no baby. Went
back yesterday and Yes there is a baby.
However, there is now another gestational
sac which appears to be empty. Has this
happened to anyone or can anyone tell me
why this might be. They said that the 2nd
sac was smaller but that's all I know.
Help me!!!

most likely a demised dichorionic twin if
it truely was a sac, unless they find a
fetal pole later on.

It's possible that it is a failed
pregnancy in the other sac that you can't
see the baby. Or they might just be
missing the baby and later on one will
turn up. I hope that it does. Let us
know!

2 sacs one baby here Posted: 05-08-08 14:05pm
I am 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant and had
an U/S today and they said I have a
healthy heartbeat and another sac that is
empty which the person said is a chorionic
hemorrhage and usually it goes away on
it's own. Hope this helps. I have
another U/S in 2 weeks...Good Luck!
