AIDS symptoms or Acute HIV Syndrome or a cold? Posted: 11-21-07 16:56pm
So, about three and a half weeks ago I had
my last sexual intercourse with my
now-ex-boyfriend. Some of it was
unprotected. I kind of suspect that he
has slept with a number of women before
(and during) our relationship. I asked
him about STDs, and he told me he was
clean. But a couple of days ago, I
started to fell just a little bit sick. I
had a slight fever for a day or so. I'm
coughing a bit (some of it dry, some
productive). I don't really have a
headache or diarrhea. I have a runny
nose, too. I was emotionally fine before,
but now I'm beginning to freak out.
Could this be Acute HIV Syndrome? Or am I
just freaking out and it's simply a
cold??? It's only been three and a half
weeks...I won't be able to take the HIV
test for another 2 months. Are there
other early signs of HIV besides flu-like
symptoms?? Thank you all for your help
and suggestions!
