Pelvic Pain after Urination Posted: 11-22-07 17:38pm


After urination (not every time but i'd say half), I get a debilitaing pain around my groin, mainly at the base of the penis and back of the scrotum (almost at the piece of skin between back of scrotum and ass, sorry dont know name). It is a dense sort of pain very broadly based if you know what i mean. Any ideas as ot he cause? It's been really bothering me.

You should really go to the doctor for that.

been tryin to avoid that, been there a while and not changed. sort of hopin it'll go away.

anyone have any ideas as to what it might be so i can research and build up nerve before going to doc?

Possibly a UTI or a prostate problem.

def not a UTI, took course of antibiotics, no burning and its been there a while on and off. And i dont feel ill. it just sort of hits suddenly last 3-4 mins and eases slowly. prostate not good. im only 26

Unfortunately prostate problems can affect everyone who has one.. almost regardless of age. it's good to get these things earlier.. they're much easier to deal with. Honestly, get to a doctor.
