Hi all, I'm really bored today. I was just wondering on average what were your babys heart rates. My little one is always 160 and above, old wives tales say that girls tend to have higher heart beats. Has this turned out to be true for anyone? Eh don't know if I really buy that but only 7 days to go and we'll know what we're haveing! Very Happy

btw how's everyones black Friday been? I wanted to go shopping for all the discounts but I couldn't get up early enough lol

I know I don't believe the myths... but I'm so anxious to find out that it's fun to read all the myths anyways. Wink

Yep, we're saving all recipets. A friend of mine was told she was having a girl based off her 14 week ultrasound and nope she had a boy. We're getting a 3d one and I'll be 19 weeks so we'll feel better about it. They don't make mistakes often but it does happen. Hope it doesn't happen to us though.

Any good respectable doctor would be able to tell you if you were carrying twins before you had them. This may of happend in the past but with todays technology I just don't see this happening. Maybe if the women hadn't been recieving medical attention.

They tend to only find that in rare cases where the twins are identical and conjoined at the chest. In those cases, there will oftentimes be connective tissue between the two hearts causing them to beat simultaneously, thus only providing one detectable heartbeat. I think I've heard of this happening once, and that was on a TLC or Discovery Health thing, and they do shows on weird stuff like that.

i would love to have identical twins for my first...a boy and a girl. then I would be done....and there is a possibility of that happening since twins run in my family.
