Sleep Deprivation Causes Death Posted: 11-23-07 23:07pm
It's no mystery that this happens; what I
can't find for the life of me is a TV
program shown a few years ago about this.
It featured a male band teacher who
developed some kind of chemical imbalance
in his brain that eventually make it
impossible for him to sleep. He died after
several months, looking like an old man -
which he wasn't. I can't seem to find any
info on this show! It also talked about a
radio show DJ who voluntarily stayed awake
for a week. He ended up with
hallucinations etc, and was never quite
right afterwards even after making up the
lost sleep.
Did anyone watch this program?!

I'm sure it's possible. You do NEED sleep.
I suppose it runs the body down.
