i hurt so bad right now, i am on the
mirena for about one and a half months, i
called my doctor (whom doesnt spend enough
time with me) and told him i hurt! BAD! I
took the highest dose they approved me for
ibuprofen (800) and He asked rudley (he
was on call) what I wanted him to do?! I
told him I need pain medication to avoid
the hospital, he told me he didnt fill
over the phone, then asked if it was
urgent, i told him yes, then he completely
flat out said no! I havent had pain in 1.5
months (which is huge with my endo) I
normally take vicodin (500) and it does ok
but tears my stomache apart, i didnt (and
havent) felt he has been listening to me
so I told him to send my charts to my old
doctor and basically hung up, here i am in
the middle of rite aid on the floor and he
wont fill a prescription!
Another problem with having endo, I dont
and dread going to the ER, I feel stupid,
All they can tell me is I have
endo...(yeah, i know!) and give me pain
medicine, (I have anxiety, endo is a
disease that varies so much and not many
people know about it despite 1 in 10 woman
suffering from it) I feel like i am going
to get the same treatment that my doc gave
me in the hospital!
I am sitting here, cant sleep, i hurt,
heating pad no work, ibuprof no work, bath
no work....I am about to bust into
tears....why dont my doctors believe me?
I am so frustrated and i hurt!

I'm so sorry you are in so much pain. I
have endo and completely understand. You
need to find a good gyn that specializes
in endo. It's a long process, you will
need to ask them if the doc has patients
with endo and how he treats them. It
might take a while, but find a good doc
because it makes a huge difference. By
the way, it sounds like you need a lap
which is surgery to remove the endo. That
is the best treatment right now...
