Anyone W/ Pcos Ever Had a Successful Pregnancy?
Posted: 11-26-07 00:42am

I was diagnosed w/ PCOS a few months ago by me reproductive endocrinologist. I get my period maybe once a year, am overweight and currently have two cysts on my right ovary that are 3 cm in diameter. I conceived my son with IUI 3 yrs ago and was hoping to do that again. Unfortunatly, it looks like I may not even be able to have any more kids. Anyone else out there w/ PCOS successfully had a baby with this condition? I need a glimmer of hope.

Try the Getting Pregnant Board. There are several people throughout the site that have PCOS

Many women are able to conceive with PCOS. However, if it is effecting you cycle, you will probably need some help. Are you seeing a doctor? As you know a Reproductive Endocrinologist will be a huge advantage. There are many medications that can be prescribed to help regulate your cycle and make you ovulate. There are also many herbs that are said to help.
