Any Alternative to Cobra In Nj? Posted: 11-26-07 10:42am
Hi;
I live in the state of New Jersey, and am
currently unemployed.
I have been using COBRA to continue my
medical insurance, but with my
unemployment benefits about to run out, I
am looking for a cheaper alternative.
So far, I have struck out while searching
and applying for quotes online with
companies that list alternative plans to
COBRA.
It appears that most providers do not
offer coverage to NJ residents. This is a
problem I have been finding not only with
health insurance, but auto insurance as
well.
This state is corrupt when it comes to
insurance, so no one wants to write
policies here.
If you have any info you can provide for
me, thank you very much.
Otherwise, I think I will have to move out
of this state once and for all!
I am 51 years old, and am in excellent
health. Non-smoker, no pre-existing
conditions.
