The last day or so I have had annoying pains in the right side of my belly. Almost like a sore or tight muscle. I am 14 weeks pregnant.... should I be worried about these pains and go to a dr or just wait it out... see if they go away. I go for a dr visit in 3 weeks is that close enough to talk about it??

It could just be your uterus expanding; that can cause pain. As long as it is not severe pains and there is no bleeding, I think you should be alright. However, if you are worried, call your doctor. They are here to help! Smile

Sounds like round ligament pains. But as Penguins said, if you are concerned, you can ALWAYS call your doctor's office for reassurance.

I wouldn't worry, but if you are worried call your doctor. They will reassure you and ease your worries, and is something they think is potentially a problem they will have you come in and check you out but chances are you're fine

When you call your doctor's office, ask to speak with his/her nurse. If they are not readily available, they will call you back. Be sure to tell them everything you are feeling. The nurse will notify the doctor what you said and she will call you back later with whatever the doctor said it could be.

More than likely it is round ligament pain. Your tummy has never been stretched. You are growing from the inside out. This is painful sometimes. It should NOT be excrutiating pain. It shouldn't be unbearable. But I won't lie, it will hurt.
