Just talked to the NICU nurse Monica, and Carly is still having a bad day! She just pulled her chest tube out and they had to place a new one. They got it on the first try thank God! Monica said she looked up at her like what are you doing to me when she stuck it in! Bless her heart! I feel SO bad for her! My heart is breaking right now! I'd give anything to take her place right now1 I just want her to be well with no struggles!

That is horrible. At least it wasn't too bad in the end though.

I'm so sorry. I can't imagine going through what you are going through. But, she definitely sounds like a fighter. It is a slow process, but she will get better with time and before you know it she will be at home in your arms. ~Big hug~

She sounds like a fiesty one! I'm sure she gets that from you. There will be bad days, but pretty soon there will be many more good ones. ((Hugs))

Wow your post just brought tears to my eyes Poor little thing.........I am so sorry that Carly is going through this. I hope and pray that she continues to get stronger with each day so you can finally bring her home.
