Q: Pain When Peeing
asked by: Lilly Ivy on November 27th, 2007
Extremely eHealthy
Sometimes when I use the bathroom, it feels like pressure on my uterus when my bladder gets more and more empty. So I always have to stop let the pain subside, then start again. I'm not sure how painful it is on a scale of 1-10, cause I don't know what a 10 is yet, but my experience, it is definitely about a 7-8. I'm 19wks 4 days along. I've never had pain like this before, but I've never been pregnant or constipated before either. any response would be helpful.

you should call your doctor, it sounds like an infection. you should call today so you can hopefully get in tomorrow. if it is an infection it's dangerous to let it go.

i went to the doctor today and found out i have a bladder infection. i got 7 days of antibiotics, no big deal.

Yes call your doctor ASAP that does not sound good. Sometimes my baby boy sits on my bladder and that creates pressure but it is not painful when I go to the bathroom.
