Well, Jon and I are going to be moving
into our new house next weekend so I have
been packing. I am trying to get rid of
some of the clothes that don't fit the
babies anymore. Jon's mom works on the
mother baby unit at the hospital and I was
thinking about having her give them to the
social worker to hand out to people who
need them. I don't really like goodwill,
and I wouldn't get much if I sold them
anyway and I just thought that would be a
nice thing to do. Do you ladies think that
is a good idea?

That is a good idea. When I worked on the
pediatrics floor and there were always
kids that needed clothes.

i think its a great idea, Sam.. this way
they wouldnt be given to a place that will
turn around and sell them for profit (I
hate that..)
very humanitarian ^_^

oo ooo bettter idea. theres a lady here
that started buying cheap lots of clothes
on ebay and at goodwill and stuff and
seperating into size and gender and shed
even add a little toy or book and then she
would give needy families bags depending
on their needs. she even added a cute
little note. you would have to go that far
but maybe if you seperated them into
unisex and boy and size then give them to
her than she could have an easier time
passing them out.

I think its a great idea. I myself
prepared a bag with clothes that are in
goos shape to give away to the needy. At
the grocery store they have a bin that
anyone can drop of clothes for kids in
need. I don't like to give aawy torn or
stained clothing just cause they are poor
doesnt mean they should accept
rags..right?
