How Late Were You When You Got a Positive Hpt?

I am pretty sure I am pregnant. I have a
few symptoms the most pleasant being
tossing my cookies every night for the
last three nights. Sorry, TMI, lol.
Anyway, I am six days late and still show
negative on an hpt. It took a little more
than a week for my last baby to get a
positive.
I am not asking if you think I could be
pregnant because I am pretty sure I am.
Just curious how long it took some of you
that kept getting negatives to get a
positive.

I was 2 weeks and 2 days late before I got
a positive test.

I was 2 weeks late, although I'm sure I
would have shown a postive a day after my
missed period. I was just afraid of being
dissapointed so I didn't test for awhile.

with my son, i tested positive 4 days
before my period was due.
with this one, i was 1 day late.

I dont know when I ovulated so who knows
when i actually conceived which could mean
why it took my so long before I got a
positive test.

Wow, I never really thought those "..test
5 days before your missed peiod" test
really worked. Nice to know they do
though.

With my son I was a week late. I tested on
the day my period was due and I got a
negative, then a week later I tested again
and it was positive

I didnt feel like testing and the first
time i tested i was 2 weeks and 5 days
late. the second test was the next
morning. Both were positive.

I'll be 3 weeks late tomorrow and still
getting a negative...maybe there's still
hope!

I took 2 tests and got negative, then a
day or two before the 7 week mrk, I
changed brands and got a bfp D:<

with william i tested when i was a day
late. i kind of knew i was pregnant. this
time i waited when i was 6 days late and
the 2nd line turned up before the first
lol

Wow, that is nuts. I would have been going
out of my mind. I am only a week late and
using the same test strips that I got from
babycreation.com. I have read good and bad
reviews about them. I guess I should just
go buy a regular test or go to the doctor.
I will be really surprised if I am not
pregnant. I just want that line so I can
tell everyone.

Me either I just figured they put it on
the box so people would buy that

some tests are more sensitive and test for
a lower amount of hcg (it says somewhere
on the box how much they test for). the
earlier you test, the less accurate
though. you're not going to get a false
positive, but you could test negative even
if you really are pregnant. that's why you
should just wait until your period is due.
but a lot of people who are ttc test
sooner because they're so impatient (like
i was!).

I too tested 4 days prior and I got my +.
It depends on how much HCG you produce and
thats why some don't get a + until later.
