Maternal Tachycardia at 31weeks - Any suggestions? Posted: 11-29-07 00:04am
Hope everyone is doing ok, I love looking
at everyone's pictures, you all look so
glowing and beautiful.
I am nearly 31weeks and having a rough go.
I am having such a hard time working, so
tired and so much muscle and joint pain.
But the scary thing is that I have been
having issues with my own heart due to
this pregnancy. I had to leave work early
last friday because my own heartrate was
well over 150bpm, and my OB told me to go
to Mat unit right away and get baby
monitored.
Baby seems fine so far, but it is so
stressful. I have been experiencing so
much Maternal Tachycardia, has anyone else
experience this?? Any suggestions??? I
have an appointment with a cardiologist in
about a week...so sometime yet.
Work is so tough, I just wanna curl up and
sleep...but I am a nurse and cant do that.

Did you have any pre-existing heart
conditions prior to this pregnancy?
