Waiting Is So Hard... Posted: 11-29-07 13:55pm
I'm so bored today. Ever since I hit 37
weeks, it seems like the time passes SO
slowly (I'm 38 weeks 1 day pregnant).
Every little thing that happens, I look
for a sign that labor might be starting
soon (it never does). I know my baby will
be here soon, but in the meantime, it's so
hard to wait. I don't really have energy
to do much either and have definitely not
got the nesting bug...I'm just bored! DH
& I have only 1 car, so I'm stuck at
home while he's at work during the day. I
think I've watched all the baby shows on
Discovery Health Channel and TLC at least
2 or 3 times or maybe more.
Why is waiting so hard?

Waiting can be so hard sometimes (trust
me, I know ) I
have no idea why time seems to stop when
you want it to slow down...Just an evil
trick.
I suggest pogo.com. It will keep you
entertained for a little while anyway.
That is what I have been doing for the
last two evenings...or else I would be
broke!

At least you're not over due. I know I'm
only 1 day overdue right now, but it seems
& feels like I'm WAY over due. It
sucks to wait, I know.

Just think about this...
my son was due on April 21st,the hospital
was so busy around that time that they put
me on the induction list and I was finally
induced on May 19th.
Nearly a month overdue!
It was hell! I was terrified to leave the
house in case I went into labor,I was
afraid that my boyfriend wouldn't be able
to get the time off work because we were
so unsure of when our son was going to
come.
