Pregnant On Yaz? 3rd month sex on placebo pill Posted: 11-30-07 00:54am
I am on YAZ birth control. I had
unprotected sex this past november 2nd and
had my period november 3rd. When I had sex
I was on my 3rd placebo pill. So being the
paranoid that I am even though I had my
period the next day. I took a pregnancy
test November 27th that came out neg. My
period is supposed to start sometime this
weekend. my question do you think it is
possible I became pregnant even though I
had my period the day after sex but was on
a placebo pill and have a Neg home
pregnancy test 26 days later?. I take my
meds about the same time everyday. this is
my 3rd month on YAZ... ...thanks

If you had your period and tested with an
HPT 26 days after your period was
originally due and got a negative you are
not pregnant. Try not to worry so much
If you take your
pills every day really close to the same
time and never go more than 24 hours
without taking one (and neglect to take
two the second you remember) you have a
very very low chance of becoming pregnant,
unless of course it is your first month on
the pills, which in this case it is not.

Your not pregnant. You take your pills the
way you should and had a neg test later
and a period. Your fine. You shouldn't get
pregnant on the placebo pills your
protected thu that week. It would be a
very low chance that you would get
pregnant when you are taking your pills
correctly.
