Why Am I Bleeding ??? Posted: 09-09-03 16:34pm


I'm 7 weeks preg, 5 days ago I started to spot very light, light pink. It's now brown and bright red. I called the doc and he did an u/s and was able to see the sac and the uterus. He did some blood work and my numbers are doubling. I'm still scared, he put me on bed rest and no sex. Can anybody help me and tell me if I could be having a misscarriage? I feel like the doctor won't do the proper tests. Any suggestions???

With pregnancy some women have small period of time where they start bleeding. This is nothing to worry about. If the bleeding continues and changes colour then you should be worried. With my pregnancy I started bleeding and then it stoped and then I had a really large accident at work and the difference in the blood between a miscarrage and what you have is the colour. Also if the blood that your body is excreting is not a dark red or thick and chunky then you are in the clear as the red thick blood is the lining of the endometrium being shed. Good luck & godbless

Do as the doctor says. Lots of bed rest because perhaps you can be losing the baby. It happened just like that to a friend of mine. I also had a misscarriage last friday : (. I was a couple days from being 3 months. Mine all came at once though. Horrible experiece. Do everything you possibly can to be safe. Good luck
