Question About a Home Pregnancy Test Posted: 12-01-07 16:05pm
Hi everyone,
I took a home pregnancy test today because
I am late on my period and I just feel
pregnant.Anyways,the test has the two
boxes that if pregnant have a line in each
if not pregnant there is only one line in
one box.
I got a line in each box but the one that
is supposed to tell you whether you are
pregnant or not was horizontal instead of
vertical like the instructions said.I'm
just kind of curious whether that makes a
difference or if maybe the test is
defective?
I am on birth control and I take it
religiously at the same time everyday.I
missed one day so I took two the next day
and refused to have sex for a week.My
period has been extremely regular(I even
know what time of the day it's going to
show up!)so I'm kinda worried.
Any advice or answers would be
appreciated.
Thanks

Are you sure that it was not supposed to
show a plus sign if pregnant. That is how
some brands are.

no I read the instructions...it was also
the same test brand that I used when I
found out I was pregnant with my son.
I took another one today and there was
nothing in the window at all so I am
hopeful that it will come out negative
when I go see my doctor on Tuesday.
