Is it normal that I just started taking
Yaz in July but haven't had more than
spotting during the normal period week
since september? I haven't been having sex
at all (I don't even have a boufriend) and
obviouslvy have been under a lot of
stress. Should I be worried?

If you haven't been having sex then you're
not pregnant but you know that.
Certain kinds of birth control pills can
make your period go away; I think Yaz may
be one of those kinds. Either way, a light
period is not usually a problem.

Yaz does that. I get spotting for like 3
days and then it's gone, that's my
"period."

That's normal. Give your body time to get
used to it. If it still doesn't go away
after a month, them you may have to
switch. A lot of pills did that to me.
Honestly, I am going off Yaz and trying
Ortho Lo because I think ever since Yaz
got popular, I have been getting different
side effects. I wonder if they did
something to save money. Not sure but I
have been really tired and runned down
lately and I never had that problem when I
first started taking it. It makes me feel
depressed too. Anyways, good luck

You should give a new birth control 3 full
months before switching unless the
bleeding is causing exhaustion.

Well you can still have sex even if you're
bleeding but that's a personal preference.

I know but thats really not how I pictured
my first time would be. I hate yaz. I've
been bleeding for 2 weeks, my cramps have
intensified x10, I get a headache like
everyday, I get nausea all the time. I
hate it. I'm calling my doctor to switch
to ortho tricyclen lo tomorrow.
