Fibromyalgia Posted: 12-03-07 09:33am
I don't see a section for fibromyalgia. It
is a real disease. I have been diagnosed
with it from a doctor for the center for
disease control. If anyone out there has
any questions about it, I might be able to
help. I'm also an RN. Recently my doctor
has tried a new med that has been like a
miracle to me. It's called Lyrica. I'm
sure you've seen the commercials for it on
TV. The commercials don't lie. I feel
almost back to normal. No overall pain at
all. Ask your doctor if it's right for
you. The only side effect I've had is
slight dizziness. I'd rather deal with
that than pain throughout my entire body.
I'm back to being able to function with
daily life again. Even my family has
noticed the difference. I have alot more
stamina and energy.
I thought this might be helpful for anyone
suffering from Fibromyalgia
Gina, RN.
