Hey I wanted to personally welcome you to the crazy world of parenthood. You will need a lot of sleep and rest over the next few weeks. Many things will be confusing and frustrating for you, and you will have many many questions. Please know that I and all the other moms and dads (?) here are happy to share what we have learned from trial and error, books, watching other people screw things up, etc. We are here for you and there is nothing that you can't ask of us. Congratulations on the birth of your baby, and may all things go smoothly. If they don't however, remember that we are here for you, so just ask!

Usually at about three months. They can tilt to the side sometimes but it is not purposeful movement-just movement for movement's sake. She could be trying to relieve gas that way. If you are worried, they make little foam wedgies you can position your baby in between. I used them for both my kids and just loved them.
