breathing problem - feels tight and phlegmy - very scared Posted: 12-04-07 15:21pm
i have a problem with breathing it seems
tight and flemy and seems blocked all the
time its really bothering me can anybody
help mean when i think about it it gets
more harder to breathe and i worry so much
AND IM SCARED TO GO TO THE DOCTORS BECAUSE
THEY MIGHT SAY IVE GOT LUNG CANCER AND
PLUS I WORK IN A GARAGE AS A MECHANIC SO
COULD BE BREATHING IN STUFF DOES ANYBODY
HAD THIS PRBLEM AND CAN SHINE ANY LIGHT
IM ONLY 16
PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME

asthma is what is sounds like to me.. But
you should go to the doctors, ANd don't be
afaird to go to the Doctor, if it is
anything serious you would want to know
early.. But I don't think it is.. GO!

That's no small thing and you should get
it checked out immediately. It could be
other things causing the breathing
problems if you work in a garage where
you're breathing exhaust, carbon monoxide,
gasoline, etc.
Please get over your fear and get it
checked out and it possibly can be fixed
without long-term care. You know that
miners underground breathe in coal
biproducts causing black lung, but they
generally have to be exposed to it over
many years. Since you're only 16, the
chances are good that your symptoms may be
treatable.
