Q: Yay! For 24 Hour Pee Collection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So i had my 37 week visit today, and my BP was high again like it has been at the last couple visits. 150/90. So i get to do the fun 24 hour pee collection! yay! And she made me do a NST just to be safe, and after that they did my BP and it was 120/70. But i still get to do the wonderful 24 hour testing. Then i have to bring it in tomorrow, and go back in friday to have my BP tested again. She said that if it doesn't go down they might just induce me. She wanted to see what the test shows.

But my check up i lost 2lbs. I'm 3cm dilated, and 80% effaced. So we'll see what happens. She didn't say anything about the really strong contractions i've been having. I guess cause they aren't close enough together. But that's that. Anyone else have the 24 hour pee testing? how did it go?

i didn't have to do the 24 hour thing, i was just automatically put on bedrest.

3 cm and 80% sounds promising! good luck!

yeah the whole BP thing has me worried. I think if it was really bad it would have stayed that high even sitting down wouldn't it? I don't know anything about that. But it's never been high until now. I think a lot has to do with me being exciting, and nervous. But we'll see what happens with the pee collection. I wonder how long it takes to test that.

yeah i'm getting pretty excited. And it's all starting to get real now lol. I'm getting scared Confused scared I just keep telling myself "you can do it!!!" lol

I am sure that your high bp i just related to pregnancy. Most women once they deliver the baby it drops back down within normal range.

It seems like you will be having her really soon.......good luck to you hun!

BTW have fun collecting pee for 24hrs...lol

Lol, I had to do this twice. It is so not fun at all. You have to completely put your life on hold for 24 hoursor carry around your urine with you. EWWW!

I still haven't heard on my test yet. Are they suppose to call you? I go in tomorrow for my BP testing again. Maybe they'll tell me then. I guess if it was bad they would have called. Or maybe it's not back yet. Oh well. It went better than i thought though lol.
