Our water pipes froze under the house The cold water in
the kitchen sink & bathroom sink is
working but no hot water. & in the tub
& washer/dryer nothing is working.
Shane is working overtime today so we'll
have a little extra Xmas money so he's not
going to be home for another 4 hours &
I don't know how to unthaw pipes. I really
wanted a shower! Sorry, I'm just whining!

you need to thaw them before they burst
are you sure its the pipes and not the
water heater?

I would think that since in one place you
have cold and in the other you have
nothing.

i wish it was summer so id be back in my
house with my husband and my three babies
You suppose to let your faucets drip to
keep them from freezing becase if they
freeze and burst it could cost you a lot
of money to repair not to mention flood
your house! my grandparents have to pay to
have their house "winterized" before they
come down here to keep that from
happening.

Ugh next summer we're going to winterize
this place. Shane got home & we got
water now. I'm going to start leaving the
faucets dripping everynight now. We bought
plastic tonight for the windows, so far we
have one done in the living room & the
big one in the laundry room. Next we just
need to get new heat tape on all the pipes
under the house & we'll be all set.
I'm hating winter already.
