Pregnancy Answer A3450
If your last period started on the 15th of November, you can’t be pregnant on the 7th of December. But next week you and your gynecologist will know for sure if you are pregnant, or not.

LLETZ is an abbreviation for Large Loop Excision of the Transformation Zone. The other term used to describe the medical procedure is LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure). LLETZ is used to diagnose and treat cervix cancer in women with abnormal PAP-tests. LLETZ is not performed if you are menstruating or experiencing pelvic inflammatory disease. LLETZ is contraindicated during pregnancy because it can cause miscarriage in 10% of all cases. In rare cases, LLETZ can be performed if the doctors assume that invasive cancer is present during the first or second trimester of pregnancy.
