Herpes still contagious after being treated for HSV-2 ?

Hi..
If somebody is infected with herpes HSV-2. and takes the appropriate drug course to recover. Is he still contagious if he had sex in future ?

yes, herpes HSV-2 or any type is always contagious. Medicines to treat symptoms have been proven to reduce symptoms. When symptoms are not apparent, the virus "seems" to be less contagious, thus the medicine's claim that it's less contagious. but there is no cure for herpes, and you need to be careful. notify your partner of the condition, wear protection always Smile
