Congratulations on seeing that heartbeat. Isn't is awesome?

Have you talked with your doctor about the morning sickness? S/he might have some good advise.

If your morning sickness is severe, there is a medication called FTAN that may help. It is a combination of prescription medication and alternative medicines. Only some pharmacies make it and compound it on location, so you might have to ask around. It is possible that your doctor may not had heard of it since it is a newer drug (it came out about 3 years ago I think.)

They also recently revised the medication so that you not be so drowsy while taking it, and it really relieves your nausea. It also may seem a little expensive, but if it works for you, it is worth the money.

Good luck.

I had morning sickness really bad. My doctor put me on zofran which is an anti-nausea med without the sleepiness also. You should be able to get this anywhere with a prescription. If you don't have insurance though I wouldn't suggest it because it's like 1300 to fill it. They do have phenergen as well but it does make you sleepy. It is extremely cheap though.
I know what you're going through. I was throwing up and dry heaving all day from about my 10th week until the 18th week. It was so not fun.

Oh my 1300 is a lot. FTAN is less than 200 for a month's supply, and is of a more natural construction.

well as im in the uk i guess IF they do it i get it on NHS or cheaper or whatever???

thats what mine is i couldnt think of the phrase, dry heaving lol, sounds lush but its not proper sick and its almost a permanent feelin ive only managed to be properly sick about three times.

no my doctor is rubbish, i have to make my own arrangments for a midwife and everything, theyr words were ring the hospital when your ready to have one and the hospital and doctor dont communicate wwith each other so neither know what is going on since i had my scan.

Congratulations on seeing the heartbeat! That's a beautiful sight.

I never did have morning sickness in the first trimester. I have some nausea now at the end but it's not terribly severe (I've thrown up maybe 3, 4 times from it). I'm sorry you're feeling so crummy. Definitely talk to your doctor about it.

Morning sickness is no fun at all! I know i had it not to bad, but enough to keep me in bed some days, and they did give me some stuff to take for it. I would ask your doctor about it. If not there are some sites that offer some kind of pregnancy sucker thing. Not sure if they work, but worth a shot!

Congrats on all the heartbeats... that is what we like to hear. I am almost 12 weeks (friday). I had a lot of morning sickness. My doc told me that I could try ginger tabs, which you can by at the store. They worked really good for me. And I have also heard of taking the B-6 as well. Hope it gets better. I was so tired of being sick I would just cry. Everything is better now. Good luck. and congrats.

I am having so much problem at night with morning sickness I think my prenatal
vitiams are the reason but, I will check with my doctor. I have use everything from ginger snacker, lemon, gum, etc nothing helps so tonight I took my vitiams around 7pm and I wasn't sick all day around 10pm when I was getting ready for work because I work at night , I begin to get sick so, I truly believe it coming from the prenatal vitiams (prime care). But I hope everyone else will get better soon I will be 13 weeks on Friday
