I've been on Yaz for over a year now and
have found it very compatible with me. The
only question I have is towards its
effectiveness. Doctors tell you to take it
at the same time every day, but does it
matter if it varies by, say, two or three
hours? I take it right when I wake up but
sometimes the time varies on when I have
to wake up for school. This only became a
problem this school year because some days
I go in for class at 11, and some days I
go in at 8. When I start my next month of
pills should I switch to taking it at
night (I generally go to bed at the same
time) or does it truly matter? I really do
depend on it to be as effective as
possible because my boyfriend and I do not
use condoms, although he does withdraw
every time. Thank you!

Two or three hours is fine. If you want to
take it at night because it will be more
consistent then go ahead.
