I hope your little one decides to come soon. It must suck being overdue. Have you tried walking yet?

Being overdue sucks, but it's worth it in the end. I'm getting induced tomorrow, and I'll be 11 days overdue. Hang in there! She'll be here before you know it!

oh yes ive tried walking....i walk everywhere and all the time lol especially right now my mom came up and im sooo excited to show her everything!!thanks everyone

I hope your little one decides to come soon on her own...I'm about to go overdue myself. My EDD at the OB's office is Dec. 10, and still no sign of the baby...I'm also scheduled for an induction on Friday if she doesn't come on her own.

if you dont want to be induced you dont have to be, they should wait if you ask them, you will probably have to have non stress tests until she decides to come, but its worth it if you dont want an induction

with my daughter they wouldnt do an induction until 41 weeks, my doc mentioned it, she told me she wanted to scedual me for an induction on the tuesday i was 41 weeks but i told her i would rather go natural so they did a membrane sweep and sent me for a nst and told me as long as everything looks good i can wait, but once things didnt look good anymore i would be induced, so i had my daughter naturally the monday before i would have been induced had i taken the induction

ya im trying some natural stuff like tomorrow im gonna try castor oil
alot of people i respect have told me thats a good way to go if i dont want
to be induced the harsh way ie;pitocin or cervital or whatever

as far as having my membranes stripped NO THNKS lol plus im gbs positive and they told me if i wanted them stripped i could but they recommend i dont just as a heads up and stuff.

i know i dont HAVE to be induced ive made sure im very aware of what i can and cant do...especailly when it comes to the fact its some doctor that wants to hurry and rush out on christmas vaca. but anyways thanks for the imputs and thanks for keeping me in your thoughts it means alot

Beware! Castor oil is harsh!

Keep the toilet paper handy and expect to be sitting on the toilet with a nasty case of diarrhea.

And... it doesn't always work.

Walking, sex and nipple stim at least won't cause the runs!
