Hey there! I was told the same thing. I was 10 weeks when they told me this. They thought I had one up until I delivered at 28w3d. It wasn't until they were inside during the csection that they realized it was a septum in my uterus. I've heard of many women carrying full term as well as pre-term. It all depends on the location of the baby as well as the extent of the uterine shape. You won't know till it happens/ or dosen't happen! Google it, there's actually a lot of info on the web, you just have to look!

oh yeah.....do you have any renal (kidney) abnormalities? This is something that usually occurs when you have other renal deformities. My kidneys are misplaced. So that's why I have a septum in my uterus. I have no clue as to why this happens but it's what the dr told me. And there's lots of info on that as well on the web.
