what do I have? Since august I have had recurring bouts with annoying skin flaws. Mainly around the sides of my nose but recently spreading to my forehead and chinline/neck area. What starts as a teeny blister turns into a round open sore which scabs.I cannot keep from scraping at these scabs so they last for weeks. Nothing I have tried seems to stop the new blisters. My skin feels tight like a sunburn and it sluffs off repeatedly. My skin looks healed one day only to be inflamed the next.I am in my fifties so it should not be acne.

I could not tell you what it is, but I have seen it before. I would go to the dermatologist. He/she may be able to give you a cream or something for it before it gets worse.
