So anyway, when i first met my wife I was like this yes and after getting to know her i was like this Very
Happy because she was REALLY fun and sexy. After she had her first episode (1 month in maybe, I dont remember) I was like this Shocked and this Confused because she didnt know, neither did I, that she was Bipolar. Well, she almost broke it off between us 1 day because I took the wrong way to the grocery store. she was like Mad and i was like Confused and she finally decided something was wrong. Well ever since she started taking medication, depakote and seroquel and lamictal and abilify and whatever the crap else there have been like 7 different versions of her. She starts to take one, doesnt work, takes another same thing blah,blah,blah...well she just started back on lamictal and now she is like this all the time Rolling Eyes she is bored and not affectionate and I dont know. Sometimes I feel like I blame EVERYTHING ON THE MEDICATION AND IT MIGHT OH CRAP! I HIT CAPS LOCK! Anyway, can anyone relate to this or give me some decent advice on how to deal with BP female? Please?

i should give you my husbands telephone number. i'll ask him to write to you this evening. he has been so wonderful, not perfect but he is my biggest fan. i can totally relate! bipolar sucks!

it is VERY common for us to be subjected to many different meds... that is just part of the process of becoming healthy. so try to know and accept that part of it. my husband gets in very bad moods because of this illness. and rightly so. he does struggle sometimes and says really bad stuff to me. but when he is supportive, he listens and doesn't try to fix me. he tries to accept me and my moods as they come. he does lots of research to learn all he can about what we are going through. it is so hard on the family of bipolar... i know because my brother has been all my life. and i've just recently been diagnosed with bipolar 1.

well, it's 5pm here so i'm headed home... yay!!!!

seriously, i'll try to get husband to write to you. this forum takes a while to get replies so don't get too discouraged Wink
