Technically yes, but it is not likely.
She would have to have a cycle much
shorter than 28 days long (the average
cycle length) and typically bleed 5 days
or so. Then the sperm would have to
survive a few days in an environment that
kills sperm quickly, and still be around
in time when the woman ovulates. Even
then if all of that does happen, you would
have about a 25% chance of becoming
pregnant. As most of us know though,
everything is not an exact science.
People get pregnant.
To make a long story short, you probably
don't have anything to worry about as far
as pregnancy goes if you had a single act
of unprotected sex while on your period.
It isn't fool proof though, so I wouldn't
chance it again unless you are ready to
have a baby and possibly catch an std.
