You are still young enough that your
period may be slightly irregular.
However, not getting it the same day every
month is normal or even the same week so I
wouldn't worry about that. Just in case,
you could see a physician.

I have never had a regular period it
always seem to just come when ever it
wanted to. But i never missed a month.
Are you the right weigt for you height?
When i was a cheer leader, i remember them
saying not to get to skiny because if you
dont have enough body fat it may cause you
to stop having your period.. but im not
possitive if its a fact or not, i would go
see a gyno just to be safe.
Good luck!

Hi,
During the first 2 years after getting the
first period, most girls won't have
regular periods. Our menstrual cycle is
actually at an average of 28 days, it may
be more or less. So we don't really have
periods at the same day of the month
unless your cycle is 30 days. It will
help making a diary of your periods, just
write down the first day your period comes
(which is the first day of the cycle) and
then write down how long the bleeding
lasts. Do this for a few months then
count the intervals from the first day of
one cycle to the first day of the next
cycle.
If it is really irregular (the intervals
are not the same for each month) then
consider other causes. If you're sure
you're not pregnant, then other causes of
missed periods in your age group includes
poor nutrition / diet, obesity, too much
stress, too much exercise. The more
common cause, and we see this a lot, is
polycystic ovaries syndome (PCOS). If you
have a family history of diabetes, insulin
resistance, you may be a candidate. Some
of these patients are overweight or obese
with signs of hirsutism (too much facial
hair / unwanted hair for a girl, deep
voice, etc). This is easy to eliminate,
just have a transvaginal or transrectal
(if u'r still a virgin go for transrectal)
ultrasound.
Go see a gynecologist for a proper
consultation. The menstrual diary will
definitely help.
