medical practice. It is a fact that
nearly 2/3 of all women reside in
countries where abortion may be obtained
on request. We understand that throughout
history, induced abortions have been a
source of considerable debate and
controversy. Any opinion about the
ethical, moral, and legal issues
surrounding abortion involves a person's
fundamental beliefs and values. It is
not appropriate, however, to share your
opinions here. You may share your
opinions in the Abortion Debate Forum.
Please post only messages sharing your
experience or support to those asking
about the medical practice of, without
judgment... or nothing at all. Opinions
about abortion will be moved to the
Abortion Debate Forum, or may be deleted.
Reasons why women seek abortion are often
far more complex than simply not intending
to become pregnant; the decision to have
an abortion is usually motivated by more
than one factor. While improved
contraceptive can help reduce unintended
pregnancy and abortion, some abortions
will remain difficult to prevent, because
of limits to women's ability to determine
and control all circumstances of their
lives.
