A lot of people never use the newborn
diapers at all. You'll find out that when
she gets closer to the top pound limit (10
lbs with newborn diapers, 14 lbs with size
1 diapers, etc), she'll start to leak out
the sides. My daughter HATED a snug
diaper!
Newborn diapers are more expensive for
less amount of diapers. So it isn't always
a smart thing to buy them (I am not
smart!).
Are you getting a bazillion and 12 coupons
for diapers and formula in the mail yet?
You should sign up at the website of
whatever diaper you use - and also the
formula you use. They send tons of
coupons. Everyone can use some coupons!

I can't remember exactly but I think
brayden was in them for about 1-2 months.
It is crazy how the different sizes cover
the same weight. Brayden is in 3's and
they are 16-28 lbs but the 2's were
12-18lbs so in that little gap were they
were either would have worked for his
weight we used 2's because more came in
the box! Definately look at all the
sizes, count, and price before buying to
see whats the best deal!!
And man if you aren't gettin those coupons
yet let me send ya mine..I think I got a
zillion just in the past week. The help
alot but sometimes I feel like since I
have the coupon I might as well use it
even if I don't really need the stuff...
hehe I went 'coupon shopping' today, I had
a coupon for everything I bought! It made
me feel kinda cheap but o well!

LOL I've been getting so many coupons in
the mail for diapers and stuff! I love it.
I've even gotten 4 things of formula in
the mail even though I don't use it. I
might keep it just in case or give it to a
daycare that my friend works at.

or you could buy generic formula. we
bought the generic enfamil and it was
exactly the same but way cheaper. at most
we were spending $30 a month, and that was
with no assistance or coupons.

Similac is not generic. Similac is a
name-brand.

Generic means the store brands, or
off-brands. Like when you go to buy
Pantene shampoo or Neutrogena face wash at
walmart, and there's a similar bottle
right next to made by equate that sells a
very similar product at half the price.

Holy cow, 30 bucks?! 1 can of similac
advanced with iron up here is 25 bucks a
can and I'm guessing you need about 3-4
cans a month with a newborn? thats a ton
of money! What type did you use for that
cheap??? I'm going to try to breastfeed
but I want to know a lot about formula in
case breastfeeding dosnt work out. I'm due
in 2 weeks but Dr. says anyday now.
