Bruising On Penis Head (glans) Posted: 12-15-07 15:53pm
Hi,
I was taking off a condom after sex, and
did it wrongly. Stupid, I know.
I tried to pull it off from the little
bubble (I didn't come in it, she wanted me
to come on her body) and by accident it
slipped out of my fingers as it was
lubricated and 'slapped' my penis head,
almost like a rubber band.
It hurt for about a minute, and then it
was fine.
It's still fine, and I have no discomfort
when urinating, although there is
purple-y, reddish bruising on the top of
the head around the urethral opening. I
don't know about ejaculation yet, as I was
stopped in my tracks by the incident.
It doesn't hurt, but I'm worried about it.
I'm planning to have sex again on Tuesday
- will the bruising be gone by then? It's
not particularly extensive bruising,
mainly centred on the top of the penis
head.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I'm pretty sure it should heal like a
normal bruise. Since the head of the penis
is full of blood vessels, you could have
ruptured a minor one. Give it a couple of
days, and if it doesn't go away, I would
consult a doctor.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I feel much more reassured now, and this
morning when I checked, the bruising seems
to have lessened. I hope it'll be gone by
Tuesday (touch wood).
Do you think that it will be?

I think if you've improved that much
overnight, tuesday should be fine.
