Cramps a Sign of Ectopic Pregnancy? Posted: 12-15-07 21:34pm
I heard that bleeding is a sign of ectopic
pregnancy.
Are cramps part of that too, because if so
it could be mistaken as a period. How
would you know if you were having one of
these pregnancies?

If you had an ectopic pregnancy and
ruptured your tube, you wouldn't be alive
for very long....you would bleed much more
internally than externally I would think
as well.
You most likely wouldn't have normal
"cramps" associated with a period. The
fallopian tubes are located above your
uterus. The best thing to do is
preventative measures: chedule an
appointment with the doctor when you do
find out that you are pregnant and they
will take care of you (an ultra sound will
detect this.)
