medication for schizophrenia

I very much liked the last bit of this post. It makes A LOT of sense to me. I am not a diagnosed schizophrenic, I'm not sure if I am. I do, however, have panic attacks quite often which have been very bad lately. With graduating, college, the death of a friend, a huge fight with someone I love very much and lots of other things happening, I can believe that my mind is overloaded. I have been sexually abused in the past and haven't dealt with it. I haven't gotten over a few bad heart breaks. I'm a scrambled egg. I want to talk to a specialist, but haven't gotten there yet. I have a voice, which is like a loud thought, and I believe it's my guardian angel. It's always good, listens, doesn't barge into my mind, I have to ask for the advice. But that one is good. There is, however, a bad one that sometimes tries to confuse and scare me, and it has done well with that but I'm trying to get over it. I called someone at a Metaphysics school and she told me my mind is too open and weak to handle the things "out there". I focus on a lot of abstract things, and I am a hypochondriac and a big panicker. These are all big factors, but I just wanted to comment on what you said.

I do believe that everyone needs to find their own kind of healing. There is no ONE WONDER DRUG, you need to find the kind of healing, whether it's drugs or therapy that help you the most. It's a personal response kind of thing. Some things don't help my panic, and others do. I, personally, do try to stay away from medication if I can, but if you are very bad, then take it to get yourself back on your feet.

Psychiatrist uses antipsychotics as a chemical lobotomy to the brain. Science now shows that antipsychotics shrinks the frontal lobe of the brain. The longer you stay on it, the harder to go off it. If you used it for awhile, it will become impossible to go off it. They become drug addicts with serious side effects. Psychiatrist uses antipsychotics really as a social control! Use antipsychotics no more than a month! After that,a psychiatrist should prescribe a psychologist.

Psychiatrist invented "schizophrenia" to describe people who are emotionally overwhelmed. Schizophrenia is a healing process of the brain once the brain could not process all the infomation. It is like a crash in a computer and schizophrenia is the rebooting of the computer.
