Hi every one,
just letting you know...... my sister is
pregnant !!!! She's almost 2
months along i think and i am super
excited but i have something to ask of
ya'll.
Since Christmas is coming up i was
thinking instead of buying things for her
(i mean ive bought things for her already
lol) but instead, buying things for the
baby, but since it's to early to tell what
it is what should i get ?? i
haven't the faintest idea of what to get,
she's 18, i am 17
any suggestions would help!!!
Thanks!!!

Diapers. Trust me. She'll be going thru so
many diapers it isn't even funny. Baby
socks. T-shirts. Really, the list is
endless. Find something cute (unisex) and
buy it.

you can always buy size 1 diapers if thats
the case in which she has a large baby
and if she does not then she can use them
after the newborn dippers have been
outgrown. I have bought myself some
yellow,green,white outfits because i wont
find out what im having until next week,
buy some things of that color pallet.
pacifiers,blankets, they always need
blankets and lots of onesies

If they aren't the right size, she can
take them back and exchange as long as
they are unopened.

Ok, size 1 diapers go from 8lbs - 14 lbs.
Trust me, newborn babies go through a
diaper about ever 2 hours. She isn't going
to have 'too many'.
Don't get newborn diapers. Simple.

Hmmm...I agree with the diapers, onsies,
etc.
Although, the wive's tale is not to buy
anything until quickening. Bad luck to
give baby gifts before then.

The reason why they are called OLD wive's
tales is because OLD wive's tell them.
Altari, you are not an OLD wife are you?
 Hehe.

That "old wives tale" still holds true in
my opinion. There's no rush, anyway.
Waiting 3 months to buy stuff wouldn't
hurt.

you CAN tell at 16 weeks but iots
extremely unlikely she would find out
then
they tried to tell me at 16 weeks and they
couldnt
she will most likely find out at about 20
weeks- 29 weeks
although it could be later
its up to her doctor

yeah..a lot depends on how the baby is
laying.. my mom didn't find out with me
until about 6-8 weeks before she had me
because i was always laying to where they
couldn't tell....the only reason i found
out so late is because that's when I first
went to the doctor...

one or 2 ultrasounds thier whole
pregnancy
