What kind of pumps do/did you use?
My mom used an evenflo one for all 4 of
us, but they don't make it anymore, so now
we have no clue which ones are good and
which ones aren't.

LOL!
They're still coming, but they're back to
being random and really far apart :/
Last night they got to be consistently
around 8 minutes apart and I was really
starting to think they were going to turn
into the real thing... and then nothing.
When I fell asleep it had been 20 minutes
without one.

Unless you buy a hospital grade electric
pump ($$$), you would do better off with a
hand pump. But why would you need to pump?

i had a manual avent one with macy and a
electric medula one. i preferred the
manual because it was quiet, easy, i could
control the suction easier and i didnt
pump to often to need a electric one. i
bought Roan a onesie today that says
Surrender the boobie! with a pirate lol.

I don't know if you have WIC where you
are, but if you do, or something like it,
they loan out the really nice electric
pumps like the hospital has, or they give
away the manual ones.

I think mine was an evenflo. After I
bought it the dr gave me a list of the
ones they thought were best and it said
the one I got wasn't very good. But it did
the job for me, then again I just had a
pretty good milk supply!
There are many reasons she may need to
pump. I had to pump because I was in
school and working when I had brayden and
I didn't get ANY time off with him, I was
back to school in a few days. If you pump
and have more then the baby will eat make
sure you freeze it!! It will come in handy
to have some stored up! I had to quit
breastfeeding sooner then I would have
liked but I was able to give Brayden my
frozen breastmilk for 2 months after I had
to stop!

ijuyst had a manual avent one but because
my boobs are so big it was really hard to
use plis Mika hates bottles so i just
stuck with the boob. If you're going to
use it alot then get an electric one, they
can be expensive but if it's in use then
it would be worth t

I bought a Medela electric one and I
wasn't really all that impressed with it.
It sucked...well actually it didn't that
was the problem.
The hospital quality ones that you get
from WIC are very good. A lady I worked
with got one from them and it was very
effecient, but it was loud

I got the manual avent one, like dani, and
tried an electric one while still in the
hospital....which hurt like HELL (never
again!). I didnt have much luck pumping at
home with the manual one either, couldnt
seem to get hardly any milk out. I'd do it
for an hour and not even get 1 oz out! You
should get the milk freezer bags too if
you're planning on using a pump, I used
them for the tiny bit I got out LOL
Forget pumping just breastfeed I say lol
I breastfed Jayden for a year

Dang I'm sorry you girls didn't have much
luck with pumps! I was pumping like 8 oz
or so everytime I pumped! I could have fed
a nation!
