I'm not sure wheather to post this here
but here it goes, in recent years I
realize that I've been very
forgetfull.Lately when I can't remember
something I just tell my mind to shut off
rather than to challenge it to remember.
When I recalled things which upset me,
things that happend years ago I tell
myself to block the memory rather than to
think and deal about it as an adult.
My question is, is it bad for me to do so,
will it effect my memory and mental health
because like today I tend to get
everything mix up and like all the things
come into my head in a speed of light - I
can't think. Prior to all these I had a
bad experience woth someone which I try to
forget, can I inherited it from my parent?
I'm highly stress and get sensitive and
angry easily too.

Well, many therapists would say that it is
important for you to deal with painful
memories from your past so that your adult
self is able to work out problems better.
And if you are easily stressed/angered,
therapy could only help.
