she wasnt famous though, and didnt have some promiscuous person sister, and her and the boyfriend were of the same age and lived together. ya maybe jamie has support, but shes got more stress on her now with the media.
not too many people have that to worry about.

i agree totally. i thought being a celeb you had to worry about being a role model for their fans? especially when you're on a kids tv show. i wish her all her luck because i know she'll need it. being a teen mum isn't easy, especially when you've got all the media to worry about

i know, it was just a thought

it was more of a thought of a positive role modle for teens who are pregnant to aspire to

i wasnt trying to compair the two by any means

i don't want to go back and quote, but when i said i thought she would choose a different path i didn't mean i thought she chose to get pregnant (though maybe she did, who knows). she obviously chose to have sex though and the odds of getting pregnant while using birth control properly are pretty slim. you'd think being a young star with a future (i actually have no idea who she is and what kind of career she has/had, i just know her as britney's sister) that she would have taken extra precautions so this wouldn't happen. she probably just kissed her career goodbye.

though who knows, maybe she'll be a wonderful mother and she'll get right back into acting or whatever it is she does. this is her opportunity to be a good role model for pregnant teens everywhere. i can't think of any other celebrity teen moms so she could totally turn this into something positive.

jamie lynn ...not a very positive role model anymore, i mean i bet theres a lot of mothers who are saying i cant believe that happened and to think my daughter looked up to her.
seeing pregnant teens on sit coms are different cuz its just an act not real life.

Seriously? Brit & JL never were kids. They never got to be kids and now they live their lives under microscopes so every tiny move they make is filmed and recorded.

Dude, I do NOT want the mass media to know every time I drive through the espresso stand - or how much I paid every single time I went to get gas! I don't want people following me to get a new cell phone or watching me as I shop for clothes.

Can you imagine what life is like for those 'celebs' who live their life with 20 paps following them everywhere they go? Of course, they could move OUT of LA and move to, say, Montana, where the paps don't really hang out - but what would be the fun in that?

I guess my point is, they do choose their lives in some way. Brit chooses to stay where she is and make a complete mockery of herself by the things she does. So what falls on her is kind of her own doing... I don't know anything of J. Lynn and you know what? I am saddened that she is continuing not to have a childhood by choosing to be a mom instead.

honestly, i don't think abortion would look real good for her.. shes 16 and in the spotlight.. that would end up BADDDDDD imo.

plus, shes 16...she doesn't have much of a childhood left.

she wouldn't have much of a childhood either way. i'm glad she's chosen the decision to bring up the child. she'll have the help of family, which she will need. it'll be a difficult time for her

I never said she should get an abortion. I said I am sad that she is continuing on a path that does not give her the 'freedoms' of childhood.

As with Brit, she is going to eventually rebel and when you choose to involve kids into that, well, you are just perpetuating the problems.

Darwinism would weed people like this out. In today's society though, we talk about them and make them spectacles and pay them gobs of money for being complete drains on the uber amount of money they have at their disposal. It is very gross and backwards.

The show jamie is in "Zoey 101" isnt old. She filmed the latest season this past summer. (My youngest sister is 16 and used to watch it)

Once again, I feel sorry for Britney and Jamie's mum and dad, Lynne and Jamie Spears. To watch Britney go through all that stuff...which shes still going through drugs, alcohol and the custody of her kids stuff, and now their other daughter seems to be heading in the same direction only starting younger. I feel so bad for their parents, seriously.

but it's completely up to her what she wants/wanted to do
