Lcis

I was just told i have lcis, rb. A tclip was placed at the site where they found alh. My surgeon was supposed to take tissue from around this area. My 1/2 hr. Surgery turned into almost two hours because they could not find the clip. I still dont know where this clip is. I questioned whether or not they went to the correct area. I was told the pathologist found scar tissue, thats how they know. Well i've had three other biopsy sites that most likley have scar tissue. How can i be sure they definitly got the correct site.
Secondly, i found a lump on the opposite side which i was told was a lymph node. Should i be concerned, i read lcis is often found in both breasts. Left breast was never biopsied. Mom and sis have had bc. I'm not sure what questions i should ask my dr. To make sure they didn't miss anything.
Thank you so much for any help!

Lobular carcinoma in situ is usually discovered as a CHANCE FINDING, when a sample of breast tissue is taken and examined under a microscope (biopsy), or when a breast lump is removed.
LCIS is thought to be an indicator for an increased risk of developing invasive breast cancer, but may not be a direct precursor to invasive breast cancer and most women with LCIS do not develop breast cancer.
Have you been suggested treatment with anti-estrogens?
